The Alzheimer's CURE Foundation has several programs with more in the making.
Alzheimer's Prize Sponsorship Program
(Corporate and Major Sponsorship)
Alzheimer’s Prize Sponsorship Program (The Gift That Keeps on Giving to the Donor in the Form of Continuous Publicity). Although anyone may donate any amount of money and designate it specifically towards the Alzheimer's Prize, our Alzheimer’s Prize Sponsorship Program is our way of raising large amounts of money from financially secure individuals and the corporate world towards the Alzheimer's Prize. Of course, we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are exempt to the full extent of the law. This program has 5 levels of Sponsorship and all levels come with lots of publicity in the form of press releases to the media, etc. Each higher category has additional benefits. Of course, if you are a company, we would be more than happy to work with your PR department to create the ultimate amount of publicity for you. Alzheimer's Prize Sponsorsorship may be in the name of a company, or in your name, or "In Honor of" a loved one (who may or may not be a victim of Alzheimer's) as well as "In Loving Memory" of a loved one (who, again, may or may not have been a victim of Alzheimer's).
The 5 categories of Alzheimer’s Prize Sponsorship are: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond.
The 5 Alzheimer's Prize Sponsorship categories are:
Bronze Prize Sponsor: $50,000 – less than $100,000.
Silver Prize Sponsor: $100,000 – less than $1,000,000.
Gold Prize Sponsor: $1,000,000 – less than $5,000,000.
Platinum Prize Sponsor: ($5,000,000 – less than $10,000,000).
Diamond Prize Sponsor: ($10,000,000 and over).
Alzheimer's Scholarship Challenge
(Our Unique, Youth Leadership Program)
One of our more rewarding programs is the Alzheimer's Scholarship Challenge because nothing beats working with students and helping young minds develop their skills and realize their full potential while getting involved with the Alzheimer's CURE Foundation. This is a Youth Leadership Program that helps to form tomorrow's leaders.
We implement this program at the high school and college level. The purpose of it is to help students develop their marketing, public relations, fundraising and event-planning skills. We work closely with the students every step of the way and help them develop and plan events. The majority of the funds they raise for us from these events goes into our Alzheimer's Prize Fund, specifically towards the Alzheimer's Prize, the money that will be awarded to the scientist(s) who discover the successful treatment – the Cure – for Alzheimer's disease. A small percentage goes towards our Educational Programs, Community Outreach. Each student that participates in this program gets 5% of whatever they raise for the Alzheimer's CURE Foundation in the form of a scholarship.
On June 4th, 2008 we awarded the first Alzheimer's CURE Foundation Scholarship to Ms. Stephanie St. Louis, a Mt. Pleasant High School student (in Providence, RI) who participated in this program. Stephanie is the only high school student so far to receive this award. All subsequent participants and recipients of the scholarship have been college students.
Community Outreach Program
We are very active within the community and amongst the many, substantial things we do is our award-winning TV Program, "A Tribute to Memories… The Race for the CURE!" that airs on Public Access TV in RI. Rhode Islanders can view this program, Statewide, every Monday at 9:00pm, channel 13 on Cox, 32 on Verizon. In addition, they can watch it every Wednesday at 7:00pm and every Sunday at 1:00pm, on channel 31 on Verizon throughout Rhode Island. Cox subscribers can watch it on those 2 days, on channel 18, only if they live within the Kent County Network area (Warwick, W. Warwick, East Greenwich, West Greenwhich, North Kingstown, Coventry and Exeter.
Since it's debut, on April 19th, 2009, we have consistently been nominated for the RI PEG award in every category that we have entered each year and each year we've walked away with one trophy.
In addition we have a monthly column in The Federal Hill Gazette.
Our Affiliates Program is geared specifically to the business, artistic and corporate world that support the efforts of the Alzheimer's CURE Foundation, our fundraisers, needs, or provide in-kind services to us in any way.
Although we are in the process of updating our Affiliates list (which will be much longer than what currently appears), some of them are:
New England Auto Center, North Providence, RI
K&K Auto Center, Long Island, NY
R. Falco Iron Works, North Providence, RI
The Hampton Inn, in Milford, CT
La Quinta Inn, in New Haven, CT
Old Saybrook Point Inn, in Old Saybrook, CT

The Varnum House B&B in New Haven, CT
Our Alzheimer's Prize Lasting Legacy Program
Anyone may create a lasting family legacy and become a part of history. This program can be used to create your (and your family's) legacy and associate your name with the Alzheimer's Prize. It can also be used as a memorial program to commemorate a loved one who has passed (with or without Alzheimer's) by having their name associated with the Alzheimer's Prize. We will work closely with you to help you create your family, business, or individual legacy and become a part of history-in-the-making. This is also a beautiful way to honor a (living) loved one (again, with or without Alzheimer's). What better gift to yourself or your business than creating a lasting legacy and becoming a part of something so big that it will change the course of history while at the same time serving as a catalyst that will spur medical research to exciting new heights? Your legacy as a participant in The Alzheimer's Prize will go down in history for future generations, through eternity. All the names participating in this program will be engraved on a plaque and given to the recipient of the Alzheimer's Prize, along with their cash-prize award.
Please call us at 401-473-7019 and we can discuss how we can go about starting a fund in your name (or that of a loved one) that will become a part of The Alzheimer's Prize. All funds are prize-designated and the Alzheimer' s CURE Foundation will only use the interest generated for our educational programs, community outreach, and other expenses.
In addition small businesses that may not have the capability to become an Alzheimer's Prize Sponsor may become a part of this exciting new program. Again, we will work closely with you to make sure you can become a part of this program.
Creating Public Awareness Program
It is important for us to create awareness around all the various aspects and issues regarding Alzheimer's. From things that affect Alzheimer's patients to issues that affect their families and caregivers. Equally as important, we want to create awareness about our groundbreaking organization, the Alzheimer's CURE Foundation, so that the public can understand what sets us apart from other Alzheimer's-related organizations, why we are different and what it is that we're doing different. There's nothing like having an individual – or an entire audience – in front of you where they can ask all the questions they want.
I'm sure many of you are excited about our organization with its groundbreaking concept and would like to become a part of history-in-the-making. Others would like to learn more about Alzheimer's as well as about the Alzheimer's CURE Foundation, Inc. For this reason we are available to talk before your group at your place of work, at your home, at a reception or a convention and explain our various programs and answer your questions. We would also be happy to talk to you about Alzheimer's and address your concerns.
